Amazon Empowers Retailers with Enhanced Buy with Prime Features

Amazon has announced significant enhancements to its Buy with Prime service, which allows Prime members to shop on other websites using Amazon's payment and fulfillment network. The company introduced these updates during its annual seller conference, where it revealed two pivotal additions: Buy with Prime Assist and Buy with Prime Cart.

Buy with Prime Assist enables sellers to offer Amazon customer support for no additional charge. Customers can chat with Amazon representatives who can help them with shipping, orders and returns. Buy with Prime Cart allows customers to buy multiple items at once from different websites, instead of using the Buy Now option for each item.

Launched initially in April 2022, Buy with Prime revolutionized online retail by enabling retailers to sell products listed on Amazon directly from their own websites. Customers could complete transactions using Amazon's payment system and leverage the e-commerce giant's robust fulfillment network.

- An average of 75% of Buy with Prime purchasers being new customers to the brand
- An average of 38% increase in conversion rate for sellers who add reviews from Amazon to their websites
- An average of 15% increase in units sold for sellers who use Buy with Prime Cart

In an official blog, Peter Larsen, Vice President, Buy with Prime said, “Acquisition strategies are hard to get right, but they’re one of the first things merchants tackle when trying to grow. That's where Buy with Prime comes in. Through the promise of fast, free delivery, a seamless checkout experience, and easy returns, we’re excited to report that Buy with Prime is helping merchants acquire new customers.”

Amazon is continuing to improve the Buy with Prime service and adding more features. The company also said that it is committed to providing a seamless and convenient shopping experience for both customers and sellers. These enhancements to Buy with Prime reaffirm Amazon's commitment to providing value to its sellers and customers alike, as the company continues to innovate in the highly competitive e-commerce landscape.
